At our committee meetings, we aim to work collaboratively and positively. CKCC members are all volunteers who dedicate their time to developing our community facilities, links and relationships.
Constructive communication is key to our success. Our code of conduct requires that all speakers, regardless of opinion, be listened to and responded to respectfully, even when contentious matters are discussed.
The individuals chairing meetings strive to foster respectful communication without compromising meaning as we share ideas, discuss issues, and make decisions. Rudeness, disrespect, and aggressive behaviour will not be tolerated.
